They pretty much capture that moment when the light goes out and you stand there waiting for your eyes to become accustomed to the dark. I can't imagine that it is too comfortable to lie on for long, but i'd spend my time lying on the floor viewing it from different angles. Made from laminated plastic, plywood, chipboard and fibreboard which is then CNC cut from one huge block, I can see why this is a very limited edition piece. Yes you could confuse the above photo with a stack of firewood, but that just proves a stack of fire wood does look beautiful. Brent creates wood sculptures and furniture from his studio in Vancouver Canada  and i'm loving the natural simplicity of his work.
